THE KIND ROASTERY INDIRANAGAR

I was intrigued by an insta reel forwarded to me by a friend about this place. Menu looked interesting and it had two advantages...located not too far from my house, 12th Main Indiranagar and all vegetarian food. This review is for two visits Visit one : Went Solo. I had: Hot chocolate: My all time favorite. Taste was like any other. Parmesan fries: Very crispy and hot topped with parmesan cheese and piri piri. For takeaway on the same day Spaghetti Aglio Olio... was very good. Even stayed fresh the next day..I had a little left over after dinner, which I stored in the fridge, reheated and ate as brunch the next day. Mango Smoothie bowl: This is really their signature dish...fresh mango puree, thinly sliced bananas, chia seeds and roasted pumpkin seeds..what a combination!! but everything blended fabulously and was very unique. Visit two: Went with a friend. We shared Mexican corn ribs as starters ..very different fried corn strips in spices but not very filling unlike some other starters. It is hardly a mouthful overall. The mint mayo to dip this into was great. Spinach Ravioli...slightly different from the usual ones. Good. Peanut Miso Ramen bowl: This is like a Buddha bowl...filled with Ramen noodles and veggies like bell peppers, bok choy, roasted garlic paste and crunchy fried tofu in it. I asked for broccoli to be added to it. For me and my friend, it was a show stealer. This was piping hot and flavorful on a rainy day…perfect especially if you are a fan of soupy noodles. Korean Garlic Bun: My friend liked it. I found it had a strong egg smell and it put me off. Not the best and I've had better ones in other places. Mango smoothie bowl again and dint disappoint....both of us loved it! Ambience: Very bright and relaxed. Service: Prompt. Efficient. Accommodating (I wanted broccoli in the miso bowl and it was initially told it'll be given separately but was added to the dish and it did enhance the taste for me) I also like that nobody is breathing down your neck and you can have your peace to chat at leisure. Prices are....well..pricey. Go loaded. Every dish was worth it though. Would I go again? Definitely. I want to try lots more on their menu. Would I recommend to others? Definitely. Normally I say if in area do visit but even if not in the area, do visit. It will be worth the trip. Weekdays noon better. It isn’t very crowded and more relaxed. My visits were on weekday noons. Not sure how it'll be weekends. Overall Ratings: 4/5. 1-No! No! No! 2-Just about average 3- Good. Can give it a try 4-Great!! 5-Yes! Yes! Yes! And I’ll tell all about it. Details: The Kind Roastery, 2985, 12th Main Road, HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bangalore. 8 am to 1 am.
